A Game Changer
If you watch any kind of sports, amateur or professional, most games or matches come down to a few plays. Perhaps you were even involved in a game changing play. What happens in just those few seconds often determines who wins and who loses. After the game or match is finished, those few plays are analyzed over and over again. Why? They changed the outcome.
There is nothing in life that is more of a “game changer” than the Bible. What we read can change our attitude in a second. We can be discouraged and from the pages of God’s word, we read something that lifts our spirit and offers us hope.
Not only is God’s word a game changer for our daily walk with Him but it changes our destiny. It is from the pages of Scripture that we learned how much Jesus loves us. We learned how that love moved Him to do things for us that were totally selfless. He took our sins upon Himself, dying on the cross, so we could be free from the guilt, shame, and punishment we deserved. Now, that was a “game changer.” One moment, one second, “It is Finished.”
Place your faith in Jesus today. It will be a “game changer.”
“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,” I Corinthians 15:3-4 NIV
