Do you ever struggle to “FOCUS?” I certainly do. There are always issues that come up during the day that demand my attention. It seems my mind and focus go from one urgent matter to another.
I always start the day with my focus on God. But as I leave for my office at church, earthly distractions and busyness often enter the empty spaces occurring in my spiritual life. It becomes difficult and sometimes impossible to see where the Lord is leading me.
The Book of Proverbs speaks to the issue of focus. It tells me not to get easily distracted from my goal. My ultimate goal is to Honor God in all I do and say, love my family, build His church, and grow spiritual leaders. I need to train myself to see without distraction.
“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.” Prov. 4:25
