A New Day a New Week
No matter where we live on this earth we will experience the seasons. In some areas it will be a rainy season and a dry season. In Wisconsin we get to experience four distinct seasons. Coming out of winter we anticipate spring and all the changes that usher it in.
Life is made up of seasons. Seasons are made up of weeks and weeks made up of days. Now matter all that went on in our life last week, we get to start a new week and a new day. Thank you, Lord, for new opportunities, new people I will meet, and new things I will learn. We get to move on from the past week and look forward to what God has in store for us today and this week.
We may have gone through a lot, last week but we made it through with God’s help. We persevered. Now we have the opportunity to have a fresh start with God by our side.
Put last week behind you. It’s done and over with. God does not remember our past but gives us a fresh start every day.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV
