This Is the Day
This is the day 385,000 newborn babies will call their birthday around the world. Maybe you were born on this day. What an important day this is for all of them. This is the day many will be celebrating their wedding anniversary, their retirement, or moving into their first home. For many around the world, today will be the day they figure out why they were born. Many people sadly never discover the answer to that question.
This is the day many people will join our family by a spiritual birth. They will be born again. They will become part of God’s adopted family, the family of God. This is the day we welcome into our family thousands of new brothers and sisters. What a day today is.
No matter what our situation is today, God has given us this day to glorify Him. Paul managed to do that in prison. So, if you are in prison, on a beautiful beach, at your job, or fighting an illness. This is the day God has given to us to glorify Him. This day is not about us. This day is about Glorifying God! Let your light shine and touch a nurse, a prison guard, a friend, a neighbor, a clerk, or a co-worker. Who knows how God wants to use you this day. This day matters to God. He has given it to us to Glorify Him! Share todays blog and by doing so encourage others.
