Zip It
Plastic storage bags are an item that are found in most kitchens. They are a household necessity. I have used them in so many different ways. I have used them to keep my phone dry when out in a boat. Monika uses them as a piping bag to put frosting on cupcakes. They work excellently as a funnel. When we want to marinade some meat, into the bag it goes and zip it up. What is better to use to turn graham crackers into crumbs than a rolling 1pin and that zip lock bag. When I am painting and don’t want to wash my brush if I must step away for one hour. Pull out that bag, stick it in, and zip it up. I use it to store small items in my briefcase, such as those tiny SD cards. Believe it or not they can even be used to put your leftovers in after a meal. You may have even found additional uses for them.
That zipper on the top was designed to keep what is on the inside from spoiling. It is an inexpensive way to preserve things.
The Bible says if want to have a happy and long life we need to learn to zip up our mouths. We need to think before we speak. I know when I don’t do that I get in trouble, especially if I have been wronged.
“Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.” Proverbs 13:3 NIV
