Unpolluted
When we buy bottled water, we assume it is pure water. Our assumptions have apparently been wrong. Evidently most bottled water contains micro-plastics. That sounds bad for the body. People live in the country so they can breathe clean air. That was far from the case last year when forest fires hundreds of miles away partially blocked out the sun’s rays. We know that the air was not good to breathe but who wants to live inside their house all summer. We live in the country.
Sad to say but we live in a polluted world. Our oceans, lakes, and rivers are polluted, so we need to monitor what types and number of fish we eat. Our air is polluted with all sorts of bad gases and particles that are bad for our health. Even worse than environmental pollution, is the moral pollution found in this world.
Think about this! What a shock to our system heaven will be. Everything in heaven will be 100% pure, 100% of the time. Every, and I mean every thought we think will be pure. Our hearts will be pure. No more misunderstanding each other’s motives. Pure water will fill the river. No pollution will be found anywhere. Why? God is pure. When He creates the new heaven and the new earth it will be pure. Paul understood that so he said with confidence, for me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
“Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” Revelation 4:8b NIV
