What a Day
At the end of a long and hard day we often say, what a day this has been. Well, there is another way to look at this day, whether we are just beginning it, in the middle of it, or near the end of it. The Lord made me and this day to come together. If the day is just beginning, I can trust God for what lies ahead of me. If the day is ending, I can thank God for all that happened, the good, and the bad. I may not understand all that happened during the day, but I can trust God through it all. He loves me and nothing can separate me from that love. It is a constant. So, wherever I am in this day, the beginning, the middle, or near the end of it I can say with King David.
This is the day that the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24 ESV
