Ducks in a Row
What comes you your mind when you hear the expression, “ducks in a row?” It’s a nice quiet sunny morning and we are by a lake and there in the lake is mother goose swimming along. There behind her in a straight line are several baby geese following her in a straight line, with pappa goose bringing up the rear. When they hop up on land the order stays the same.
To have your ducks in a row means you are organized and ready to tackle whatever needs to be done. We know the joy when we have our ducks in a row and the chaos and confusion when they are not.
When our church first started a few years ago until now, many things have changed. More people are coming, praise God for that. Our worship team has mushroomed in size. We now live stream our services. Three people are in our sound booth. When we started there was no sound booth. The more our ducks are in a row the smoother the service.
God has His ducks in a row. The universe runs perfectly, right on His schedule. The laws of gravity are constant. The planets revolve around the sun so precisely we know where each one will be years from now. Our God has everything under control even when things appear chaotic. Trust Him today. He is trustworthy. He knows what He is doing, even when things appear chaotic.
