My abilities are very limited, like I can only be in one place at a time, I don’t know everything, I do not have the power to control the weather, and I am very mortal to name but a few of my limitations. Because of my limitations, I subconsciously put limitations on my God. It is so easy for me to put God in a box. If I cannot do it, then subconsciously neither can He, which is a lie.
So much of what God is doing around me goes on without my noticing it. If I do not notice it, I do not give Him credit for it.
If my God is small, then my faith will also be small. If my God is big, then my faith will also be big. I can trust Him to do great and awesome things, like turning a life around, comforting a broken heart, healing a sick body, turning something awful into something amazing, or offering hope amid despair.
God is bigger than anything that is facing anyone of us right now. He is doing so much more than what I give Him credit for. He can do so much more than I can even imagine.
Father, you are an awesome and powerful God! There is none like you. Nothing that goes on in my life, my family’s life, or the church family is too difficult for you to handle. I believe. Please help my unbelief.
