Some days everything seems to go wrong. We have all had those kinds of days. I was driving into Green Bay to get a tooth filled. But, Lord, thank you, for the dentists who can fix tooth aches.
On the way there the car in front of me ran over a large piece of metal road debris that went flying in the air right at me. I heard this loud bang. It hit the roof of the car, near the windshield, leaving dents. But, Lord, thank you, it didn’t go through the windshield. That could have been fatal.
Nearing the dentist’s office, I found out the internet bill for the church was past due. We had changed bank accounts and somehow the auto pay for the internet did not get updated. But, Lord, thank you, we caught it before our internet got disconnected.
Sitting in the dentist’s chair I started getting text messages that people were not able to access this blog on Facebook. On the way home, I was informed that this Sunday’s live stream went down, and the sermon may not have even been recorded. But, Lord, thank you, the fix to get the blog back up was easy, and I was able to bring a message to those who came to the service. Lord, thank you for reminding me to always thank you for all things.
“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
