Class Reunions
I cannot remember when my high school graduating class began holding class reunions. I do remember the first one I attended was the 50th. How people change. After not seeing anyone from my class for 50 years I did not recognize one person. That was scary. No one recognized me either. When I left high school I weighed 145 pounds. After that class reunion I am trying to attend subsequent ones. We now hold them annually for obvious reasons, our class is getting smaller.
I recently attended my 58th year class reunion. I recognized more of my classmates, though I only see them once a year. Memories are beginning to come back of those days in school. One memory that came back during this reunion was a biology class I took with the valedictorian of our class. She only got A’s in her classes or assignments. However, in one assignment, dissecting the brain from a frog she got an F. I never forgot that and neither did she. At our 58th class reunion that memory came back to both of us at the same time. We had a good laugh over that memory.
Looking back over your relationship with God what special memories come to your mind? How about the time you prayed to God in desperation, and He answered that prayer. Or the time you were in a quiet place outside under the stars, looked up, and knew there was a God.
“Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me,” Isaiah 46:9 NKJV
We did have a good laugh 😆. I love reading your blogs. On a more serious side, I have prayed to God in desperation and He indeed answered my prayer. Amen.
