What’s In A Word
What’s in a word? Sometimes a friend or colleague will say; could I have a word with you? It sounds important when this happens. Proverbs 25:11 says a word rightly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.
And then we have The Word. John1:1 states, In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. But even more important I am a child of God because of The Word. In eternity I will meet the author who shared his words with me. Through his written words put in a book, I was born again. He shared God’s Word with me. Because of this a supernatural event took place. And all of heaven rejoiced. My name was written in the Book of Life.
My name, 2 words are etched forever in God’s Book. My prayer is may the words of my mouth influence the lost, the struggling and the hopeless for Jesus Christ and eternity. Someday God will let us see the words we used and how they encouraged others or led a lost soul to their Savior. Let all heaven rejoice.
