Day 31
Read: Job 40:6 – 42:17
In today’s reading, we conclude the Book of Job. We might expect God to explain Satan’s propositions concerning Job, but no such words were offered. God revealed His omnipotence through creation, Job humbly repented and was restored.
Job’s greatest need was not to know WHY things happened but to know WHO was in control.
In what ways does Job’s response (Job42:1-6) show a change in heart from his earlier complaints?
What does it mean that God required Job to pray for his friends who had hurt him? How does this challenge your own attitude toward those who have not supported you well?
